importance of gluing corals

i have some zoas and some coraline that i bought at the lfs at a steal due to mismarkings i am a newb and did not glue them down
if i dont glue them will they not spread?

I am a newbie as well - I haven't glued anything down and my corals are spreading - I had a bit of trouble with a monto cap the cleaner shrimp knocked it down once or twice, but now it has grown to the live rock. I will however start to glue any newer small frags I get in the future. Good luck

They will still spread.....gluing them only helps them to stay put...so a large turbo snail...or large MEAN TANG does not carry them off
