Improving Live Rock

No, the lights you have are not even close enough for an anemone even though you may be running them together. That is still not even 40 watts. Either upgrade your lights, I'd say at least to 130W power compacts or take the anemone back. The anemone will die if you don't do one or the other, guaranteed. If that dies in your tank, coralline turning white will be the least of your problems.

I don't know how good Purple Up is, but I've used Aragamilk in the past and it worked really well. Also B-ionic two part calcium and alkalinty solution would work good for you. The B-ionic is probably the better product of all of these. Just make sure you get the lights too, I can't stress enough the importance of that with your current livestock.

if you have a 20g there is a cheaper way for lighting, coralife makes a light they are t-5 normal output, it comes with 1 10,000k daylight bulb and 1 actinic, together its putting out 36watts. The light only cost 37.50, now if you get 2 of them you will spend about 80 bucks and get 3.6watts of light per gallon, that should be enough if you want to know where to find the lights so cheap email me at...... avmagician@yahoo.com
