I just rencently moved to my new place (in the middle of knowhere). I am used to a busy city where theres a convience/fish stores, everywhere, and firends that live close. I haven't found much to do yet! I will soon enough. Also I share my time with three other people. Normally my only spare time is early morning before they wake up, late night when there sleeping, or when there taking naps. Not to mention lately I have to fight to use the computer cause my husband has a new found addiction ( world of war craft) he is driving me nuts. He loves that game. I personally hate it.

I can definately relate to the little buggers, and naptime. Husband and games, no, if I had that much time I'd be staring into my fish tank. My biggest problem now is that I too live in the middle of nowhere and I have a 2 acre lawn. Some bright Idea to have a lush lawn around your house. Pour more fertilizer on it so you can mow it three times a week. Arghhhhh. Now the folks are starting to show up at work for dayshift, so I had better pretend that I actually did something last night. One more shift to go then its bedtime. (Have to pay for all of those new critters I want). Have a good day!

Been there done that on the garden. < will never do again. My husband isn't really into fish tanks as much as he used to be. We began our hobby together, and now its just me.How are your corals doing?

I spoke up too soon, for both my tank and for sleep. I got home to find several of my corals going through the beginnings of tissue necrosis. I immediately mixed up a large batch of saltwater. I have a well with no impurities (part of that being in the sticks thing) so no R/O etc. I then tested everything. Showing some nitrite, nitrate and worst of all ammonia. Sooooooo another huge water change. I hope its not too late. And....I won't be waiting any 24 hours for my saltwater to equilibrate. Argggghhhhhh. I pray that tomorrow I don't have a tank of white skeletons. :sleepy:
(by the gallon)(it should be a Mt Dew can though)

Awsome set up, did the same thing at my house, just took about 6 months to convince my wife to let me do it.

Thanks again for the nice comments. Todays update is there is still a little ammonia, but not near what yesterday had. I'm in the middle of incubating a bunch of water for another massive waterchange. I lost my scolymia for sure. It had been damaged from the big storm two weeks ago and this shock finished her off. I have one acropora frag that most likely will completely necrose. I broke the very tip of it off above the tissue necrosis to see if I could save it. I have one other that is taking a big hit and one new frag that is about 25% gone, but holding. The rest look pretty happy at this point. Only time will tell. I bought another bucket of salt for the weekend. We'll have to see how she turns out.
Thanks for the support! This was chester (chesterfieldensis) a couple of months ago before the big move. He had grown quite a bit.
