This economic mess began BEFORE Obama...Just an FYI
How can he fix the economy in the 60 days he has been in office, which took 8yrs. for the republican president to destroy?

You better look at Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Franklin Raines too. Despite Bush and McCain both raising flags about Fannie Mae, they fiddled while Rome burned and Raines walked away with 90 million dollars in his pocket. The economic mess has been happening as we have been shifting to the left, both parties.
Barbara Lee told us how well things were going just a few years ago. She also noted the excellent job Franklin Raines was doing. Why not blame her?
I am wondering how many more tax dodgers Obama will nominate. How many more lies will he tell us. He promised "no lobbyists" yet his administration is full of lobbyists and tax cheats. I can only imagine the uproar in the "free press" if Bush nominated a tax cheat to run the Treasury and IRS.
Everything Obama reads from his teleprompter causes the Dow to drop 200 points. Even the Wall St Journal has indicated this is the Obama recession.

I'm not sure what this means - the market collapse depicts the events that occurred during the previous administration, so why shouldn't a different approach be tried?

Yes it is, because all those who have defrauded the U.S. citizens for their own personal gain are about to get what they deserve.

Really, are we recalling Frank, Pelosi, Boxer, Lee?
Are we getting the money back from Raines?
Is the press going to come out and say we were wrong to mislead the people about this issue, both sides were wrong and the tax payers are paying the price?
Are they going to say Bush/McCain were right to question Rains about Fannie and Freddie. The Democrats should have doen more to prevent this disaster.
I don't think so , Tim.

True but you don't stop a fire by throwing more fuel in it's path.
What Obama is doing is making a bad situation way worse. It is a given that within the next couple years everyone who isn't already on some kind of government welfare of some sort is going to get hit with big tax increases. Anyone who says the increases will only be on the 250K a year and up "Rich" are either liars or idiots. The numbers don't come close to adding up. Each new stimulus item just adds more to the upcoming bill we have to pay and businesses know it. That is the reason for all the lay offs recently announced. If they though Obama's new direction was the answer they would be positioning themselves for the good times to come, not cutting back so they can survive.

This attempt at repeating history will turn out the same way it always does.Bad for everyone except those in charge.

It is about time we progressed, instead of clinging to the tired same old you know what.
I hope your thoughts on our way of life dont even remotely echo the rest of our children in this country.
