I really wanted one too but some say reef safe but others say will eat shrimp snails, etc. I see them sometimes for sale here in Florida, Carrie

They are a beautiful fish - one of my favorites, but to be honest don't really hear much about people having them. Scott Michaels Marine Fishes book says that they may eat smaller fish and crustaceansm and that adults are difficult to acclimate and often don't survive. I reckon that is a major reason they are not more common
