i looked and looked and looked but couldnt find any info. none of the websights i found had that specific of info on tangs, i would take the lfs's word for it.

The shape and coloration of the face reminds me of a PBT. BTW, you've got a lot of yellow fish:D

It is an acanthurus pyroferus - Pacific mimc tang. Widespread throughout the indo-west pacific. Totally cool. When it was younger it probably looked like the fish behind it. They mimic the true or false lemonpeel, or vrolikii dwarf angel. There is another mimic tang that looks like an eiblii angel as juvenile but grows up to be rather drab. You got the good looking one.
