injured fish! Help!

I have an argus grouper that has a chunk taken out of him on both sides. I can see Red and i know my hawkfish did it. Is there anything else i can do. I have a QT tank but i heard groupers are tough and would probally make it, unless he gets infected. He is not infected but im wondering what i should do.:help:

Open wounds can let a lot of salt into the fish. Putting the fish into a QT and lowering the salinity (to around 1.014 which is the internal osmotic level of most marine fish) will lower the amount of stress the fish is under. In addition, a product such as stress coat will help to regenerate the slime layer to protect the open sore from a secondary infection.
