blood shrimps are gorgeous, however he just sits there bobbing and weaving like a boxer, not much movement at all, unlike cleaner shrimp who are always out and about!
my blood shrimp just chills in the back of the rocks, all the time, until feeding time in the morning... eats, then goes back and chills.

Arite so i went to the LFS with that devil of a clownfish that killed my royal gramma, and got ten bux for him, not bad at all considering i bought him for 15!
what i bought:
small frag of star polyps
small frag of zoos
maroon clownfish (so much cooler!)
sixline wrasse (VERY FRIGGIN COOL)
I'm walking in DeMartini's footsteps and i'm gonna try to take the two little corals i bought and spread them.. It should be beautiful if i pull it off right. Here are the photos in the evening when i just put the new stuff in.

wait a sec, you got rid of a false percula because it was too mean, and you got a maroon clown to replace it?? you know that maroons are the single most agressive clown?

Tank is looking good though.

yep i know!
the reason why i got rid of the other one was because it had the tank all to itself for like a month, so introducing other fish proved to be futile. this time, i added the fish simultaneously, and its been all good for now. i dont really plan on adding more fish for a while, working on the corals more.

Hammer looks a lot bigger in your tank, awesome. But you probably need to think about adding a bit more LR. Other than that, all corals and fish look pretty good. You dont plan on adding any more fish right?

Oh yea and also, contrary to popular belief and tradition, my golden maroon clownfish (affectionately named BABESH b/c it sounds like the name of some fat guy) is the nicest most well tempered fishie ever.
He always swims around just chilling, loves to come up to the glass when i'm watching, and swims around with the sixline; has never bothered any other fish or corals... I love him so!

Nice looking tank! I like the maroon a lot.
Is coraline growth helpful/harmful if its on the back of your tank as well?

as far as i understand it the more coraline the better... its just too much of a hassle to scrape it off the back of the tank so i just let it grow (looks alot better anyway) and i just make sure the filters are clear of it.
