inside canopy paint?

I am going to paint the inside of my canopy white, for better light. I want to use oil based paint.Should I ? or is there something better I should be using?
I am not sure on how to best do this. thank you everybody.

I would just let it air out a lot before you put it in to use... JMO Good luck

i used extra glossy white exterior house paint.
