just because MENSA doesn't think your a genius doesn't mean squat. half of my peers in the medical schooling could not get those questions right and they were training to be surgons. smartness is a precieved notion. when it comes to english and symbolizm oh yeah and spelling i am SOL.

I work with a card carrying guy in Mensa.
Yes, I am more intelligent than he is.
Plus he is condecending and believes himself superior to everyone.
The word "OK" is used at the end of every sentence he utters.

I have found that most people who are extremely (mensa type) smart generally can't find their way out of a phone booth. "OK"..........

OK, I take offense to that. Those phone booths can be very tricky. Once you get turned around in there, there is no way to tell which way is out. :scared: It can take me hours, so I refuse to go in them anymore.

...speaking of "ok" where on earth did O.K. come from?? what does it stand for? you know, like the phrase "mind your p's and q's" was about spilling your pints and quarts of beer....

I was misspelling millennium for the longest time too. I had to dictionary dot com it. Also RU, I think I had trouble with that one until I put in an apostrophe
Agreed about the mensa types. While I don't consider myself an idiot, I'm certainly not a genius (and this test is in no way a scientific one, lol). Most of the people I consider smart may not be extremely "book" smart but are "life" smart which is more important in my opinion. It doesn't matter to me how well read you are if you can't hold a conversation about the book
