Internet Explorer issues

Is anyone having Internet explorer issues? Mine won't open, and when I try it says internet explorer has stopped working and has to close
I thought maybe it was my laptop, so I went and tried on the desktop computer......same thing happened on that computer
I am using SWF in firefox right now

Is it just SWF is pukes on, or any other site? If it's any site, go to Tools, Options, select the Connections Tab, click on the LAN Settings button at the bottom, and see if the Proxy Settings is turned on, and has some type of information in it. If so, remove it and uncheck the box next to the Proxy Settings. I had this hit me the other day when I hit some site that I was referred to by Google.

I'm back on IE on the desktop....BUT I could not get in it at all on the laptop.....as soon as I hit the "e" I would get the error message...I did a disk cleanup and shut the laptop down for tonight. I'll deal with it tomorrow

ya never stated if this was limited to swf.com or other sites.
If swf.com only then it could be a flash player issue
If all sites, re download ie8 and reinstall. there should be an option to repair. staw away from ie9 for the moment.

Yes I did...LOL....I said as soon as I tried to open IE I would get the error message....that right there should say I can't get into anything
I am at work right now, the desk top started working, and I turned the laptop off...HOPEFULLY it will work when I get home this afternoon

must have missed that, my bad. Go with the DL and reinstall of IE8 then.

WELL...I am hoping when I get home I won't have to....hopefully it will be fine...
