Introducing a new anenome

a month ago I bought a green bta and left him on the sand next to my liverock. he looked like a shrunken tree stump with a oral cavity, or like one of those saltwater taffees you see at the shore. there wasn't even any signs only buds or tentacles.he found the rock on his own and still moves around a little but. at first he hid at the bottom almost all the way to the sand and on the back side of the rock. he would only eat every couple days. for one thing the shrimp made it a point to rob it of it's food after i would leave. my 3 camelback shrimp had to leave because they kept also using it to walk over every few minutes, giving it no peace or rest. so they LEFT, back to the lfs. at first food wouldn't even stick to it anywhere. STING? I feed mine by hand now, holding the food in my fingers untill I know that bta has it. and it now eats almost everyday and is improving daily. it has now grown larger, has several budding tentacles that stretch from a 1/4 to 1/2 inches and is moving up closer to the top of the liverock in the brightest area of the tank. i just feed it small cut-up pieces of raw shrimp so far. I still have to watch my scarlet cleaner shrimp. if he doesn't get any shrimp of his own to eat, he makes the bta close-up, and physically removes the food out from inside the bta.
