Introducing Myself

Hello, All!
I've been a "member" of SWF for a little while now, but I've just been reading posts until now. I just posted an ID question ( https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/368300/is-this-a-sponge-or-something-more-nefarious ) and thought I should say hello to everyone.
My tank is about 5 months old now. I'm running a 65 gallon hex tank, which I discovered isn't often done. I've been taking it very slowly, because I want to do it right. I don't have much in my tank: 2 fish (a false perc clown, and a bar goby), an emerald crab, and a smattering of cleaning crew members- snails and hermit crabs.
Because the tank is a hex, it's tall and skinny. I can't set up a sump underneath, so I'm running a HOB skimmer and a Fluval 405 underneath. I'm lighting it with T-5, and I run an LED moon light. I've got about 55lbs of LR, and about 30lbs of sand.
Some pics are below, at various stages in the last few months. Let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions, I'm happy to hear them!

Looks great, love the rockwork! Now its time for some splashes of color...zoas, shrooms, etc.! I would put the more light demanding corals toward the top and middle due to your tank being so tall, but you should be able to keep quite a selection!

Welcome! Very nice tank. Love the rock work. Your goby looks very happy about it, too. He found a nice little hole for himself!!

I have a 65g hex also. Bought it specifically for seahorses. If I ever get it set up, I will post some pics.

WELCOME!
I like the way you did the rocks too. My only suggestion is to have plenty of surface agitation, the only problem with deep tanks is gas exchange.
Once you start getting your corals..it is going to be beautiful...
