introducing new fish in aggressive tanks

I have a trigger in each of my tanks (not by choice, both of them were dumps from friends who were breaking down tanks). i have a 5in Assasi in my 75 and a 2in Humu Humu in my 29 gal. Now i am plagued with the inability to add any other fish to my tank because of these little terrors! Any suggestions as to how to go about adding fish without having them be snack food? Would a temporary "house arrest" of the trigger in a breeder net while the new fish gets established help? any other suggestions?

You could try aranging the LR so it would be new to the trigger when you put him back in there.

if you have a quarintine tank you could use that or a species catching tank. rearanging rock work and keeping the lights off also help

Rearrange the rock and introduce as the lights are going out. The small humu is probably a better choice. Mine doesnt harass other new fish but will size them up and doesnt miss a thing in his tank. Its my purple tang I have to watch out for. The rockwork is the best thing that you can do.

humas are relatively passive in comparison. I would try him, you could even try to put both in the 75 the same time u add another fish so it will screw them all up :) :)
