This is allowed? I visited your web site...I don't understand SWF.com, are they getting a kick back or something?

Nice idea! Looks like a good little product!
May I suggest you replace the suction cups with magnets? Suction cups wear out quickly. They are difficult to replace and products become useless once they are no good!

Flower, a lot of people who have companies will advertise on other sites to promote their products. SWF is a great online retailer which I am sure does a great business. They also have these boards so what better place to advertise a product for Fish than this site. I am sure they are paying a fee to advertise on here.

Hey I just wanted to make sure it wasn't like the Nike guy who keeps advertising. SWF should restore the sale and swap, all we are doing is going to private e-mail to do it and it's just an extra step, lots of folks have left because of the no trading/selling policy.
Don't get me wrong, I understand the why..However if they will allow another business to advertise right on the site and not by a pop up banner as before, they might as well. I blocked the pop ups for a reason if we had a secton just for selling or trade..the advertisment could go there and we look at it if we want to. I'm tired of being force fed advertisments. If I want a product I will look for it. I purchased the U-Verse TV just so I could save a show and get past the advertisments by skipping over them.

I agree, that they should have a section Selling/Trading for the people on here. That would be a nice addition, It was gone by the time I joined the site. I also have heard that many have left the site because they took that away. I can also understand their point in worrying that it would directly affect their sales, but they have a very limited selection of Equipment they offer on the site. I would have bought everything that I needed as far as dry goods from them if they had offered what I needed. I will be buying live stock from here that I can tell you because of the people that come to the boards have had good experiences with them. I agree that they could get more people here if they did have a selling/trading section again, and maybe they could set it up that if you had something you wanted to sell/trade they would charge a small fee from listing it depending on the price of the item and if it was for trade charging a flat rate fee for that. That way the could compensate for some of the monies that they might be losing by having it as part of the forums..
Just my humble opinion!

It would be a great idea to add a buy/selling/trading section. That is one of the few reason why I am on a archer forum, to get great discounts on some very expencive stuff.

I think it's a great idea to charge a fee, maybe according to how much an item sells for....Trading should be free, but maybe only after so many posts, or time on the site....pitch it to SWF and see if they are interested.
