I have a 4 foot 90 gallon tank, 24" deep.
After some deliberation I will be getting a pair of 175 watt MH lights. These will be supplimented by 4 48" 40 watt NO tubes.
My question is will Ibe able to keep clams and anenomes in there? And what corals would I not be able to keep under that lighting? I have a dsb in my sump and I will be installing a Berlin turbo soon,(thanks to davids' new skimmer) :).

you should probably go with 250w for a 24" deep tank in order to keep whatever you want. That's a pretty deep tall tank for a 175w.

Stop messing with the 400's, if you're going to do it, do it right. Go with the 1000 watters. Of course I'm just kidding. Before you buy your metal halides though. Look into Blueline's MHs. I think that's what I'm going to be using. Here is a link to where you can buy them. http://www.championlighting.com/e/en.../eballast.html
Do some research and see what you think.

I get a goverment discount from an electrical supply store thats closed to the public. I was thinking of getting a bunch and reselling them but I wouldn't make all that much money on them after shipping and taxes. The savings for me would not relate to much of a savings to anyone else.
