iny aptasia's in my zoanthids!

i'm talking tiny... like an 1/8 inch in diameter. i found three mixed in with the polyps. what to do?!

Hit them with some joe's juice.

No. Just don't shot it right into any of the zoa polyps.

I had some very small appy's in with my zoa frag when I got it from my lfs. Didn't realize it until I had already put it in the tank. I already had peppermint shrimp....they found them within 2 days and devoured them all! My zoas have been fine since.

Yes it will! If you get the kalk paste (i.e. Joes Juice) in the zoas, it will kill them just like the aiptasia. Turn all your pumps/powerheads off and use a syringe to apply the Joe's Juice. Make sure the appy are taking the juice into their oral disk. And don't get any in the zoas, nor allow it to float off and be taken in by the zoas.

use aiptasia X by red sea. I get freggin aiptasias all the time in my zoo colonies, never hurt anything and I've been using it for a loooong time.
