Does anyone know anything about this? I did a search in Disease and Treatment but I found nothing. So does anyone know of a place I could go to learn more about this? Thanks

I use a product called Seachem Reef Dip that is a concentrated iodine. Just follow the directions. I usually put the new coral in a bucket of tank water, and add one capful. Agitate the water to mix, and soak coral for 5-10min. This will remove any flatworms or unwated critters. Works very well.

Tropic Marin also makes one that I use. Works well against bacterial infections, and other parasites. I do about 10 minutes as well. Kills all inverts though so if theres anything you want on the rock remove it before dipping.

I use Lugols and there are "dip" instructions on the bottle. I dip every coral I put in the tank.
