I'll have to take a look at the tech specs. This is actually my first tablet. The wife surprised me with them for Christmas. I guess they are the kindle fire HD's which are thier latest. So far ive not experienced any lag with it, its very fast and picture and video quality is excellent.
Cant see why anyone would need to shell out the extra cash for an apple product these days unless you're a hard core fan.
Kindle Fire HD is an excellent mid sized tablet. The only reason I am not a huge fan is that you are locked in Amazon's App market on it and dont have access to the Google Play Store.

I got my daughter a Kindle Fire for her bday and it's great for the money. As far as i can tell it does everything my iPad does but through the amazon market. She doesn't have the HD and the graphics are still really good.

1 thing that deterred my decision on a android was no app for apex controller......Just seen an app was released yesterday!!!!!
I have been using Henry's app for the longest on my android phones and I love it.
I didn't know that the app came out!! Thanks Shawn.

Droid. I just picked up a couple Galaxy S3's for the wife an I last week during Sprint's "Buy One Get One Free" sale. Couldn't pass that up. I upgraded from an Evo, which is a nice phone but was never useful for 4G. I've never had an iPhone, no intention to either.
Has anyone found a good way to import their itunes to the Galaxy? I've heard it can be done, but I've not done any real research about it.
Glad that I was able to convince you good sir. You should have went for the note lol.

Take a look at the Nexus 7 or 10 as compared to an iPad or iPad Mini and unless you already drank the Apply Kool Aid you'll see that they are just as capable, if not more so, than the Apple products, at half the price.
I'm glad that this forum is smart.

Siptang I had heard that there were issue with the Android app and that it wasn't truly supported by Apex.....Not really sure, but heard there were issues, but the release appears to be promising......

Ok so I guess I will be the advocate for the iPhone.
I've had both and I must say for general streamline purposes the iPhone is set up a little better. I have a ton of music (750k songs)and like to have acces to it everywhere. So iTunes Match is phenomenal for me. As for general usage it's ok. Not great. It's wifi connectivity is spotty but all the downsides pale in comparison to their cloud backups, and lets not forget the wifi sync

I dont use it, so I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the Google Play Music App does the same thing on Android.

I just tap the back of my phone to the wifes and we can sink files with one another (kinda nifty).

The big problem with apple products to me is they wont work with any other plattform. Its like they keep everything inhouse and wont acknowledge any other phone. Just like they didnt want to use google maps, they wanted their own maps, ha ha it was a flop. I tried to pair my evo 4g phone with an ipad, my phone found the ipad but ipad wouldnt find my phone. They want to be by their selfs. I hope they go broke.
