20 gallon long tank?MY friend has a 20 gallon which he has set up for about 3-4 months now and he bought 2 condi anemone's.I was wondering if 55w of pc lighting would be ok for a 20 gallon long tank.I think the lighting is 55w,but it could also be 65 w.If it was 65w of pc,there would be 3.25 w per gallon, and if they were 55w,there would be 2.75 w per gallon. So,is there enough lighting for 2 condi anemone's? :notsure: :help:

IMO.... make yourself and your tank happy and get more.....it looks nicer aswell....when i started i only had 72 watts and it looked dull.... now i have 202 and it looks OK....but now im going to add a 170W MH to it with the 202 watts of PC.....see where im going with this??? more than likely you wont be happy long term with just 55 watts and i could have saved money if i had listened to other people and went with the MH right off the bat

condys tend to move around to find a place they like, and at the top you might be ok.. it also depends on the color of the condy- tan or brownish colored condys should have lower light than a bright white or colored one.
but i do agree with everybody else here, youll probably be happier with more light, it looks better and you have more possibilities later on to add corals.

I said in my first post that it is not me with the 20 gal,it is my friend.I would never get only 55w of any lighting!Exspecially with anemone's!!I have learned enough not to get that low of lighting for anemone's,the only reason I posted this poll,is to help out a friend!!!
