After I got my setup runing I realize I needed to put a fan in the stand and canopy. It seems that the heat from my pump is heating the tank from underneath and the lights are heating it from above. It never gets more than 82 degrees so is that a problem?
I am going to get a fan in the canopy but I don't want to break the whole thing down to put one in the back of the stand. I will be moving the tank to another room in 6 months so I will add a rear stand fan then.
Also, in order to keep my heater from overheating the sump if the pump quits could I just put the thermostat in the first chamber of my sump since the heater is in the last?
Thanks!
