i have a ro unit and it runs continuously when i turn it on. i've let the tank fill up but it sounds like the membrane in the tank is about to burst, so i shut it off. the water is only running through the filters now. my psi is 86 at my sink. i know i can install a pressure regulater oustide but i don't feel like digging into the ground to install one. do they make one that i can install on the ro unit. does anyone else here have a pressure reading that high?

It depends on your RO unit but mine has a 75lbs max. I simple ball valve just before the RO unit will allow you to cut back the pressure.

i've tried that, it just cuts back the flow but the pressure is still 86 psi. i was wondering if there is some type of pressure regulator that i can install before the ro unit? does anyone else have this problem?
