You should be fine. I ran a 90gallon with 90# of fiji rock, 5 medium size fish and some corals with no problems. You may want to pick up a canister filter to run carbon and mechanical filtration every once in awhile. HTH

Yes that may help. Put a couple of powerheads in there and try to get 15x turnover rate on your tank.

Well if you are going to run the tank without a filter, you will want to aim for at least 20X-25X the turnover rate.

A hang on filter is good for multiple things. I have mine packed with foam and such to hold bacteria and it stop large chunks of waste from going into my tank. It also holds my carbon!

Yeah, I always liked the idea of running a cheap hang on filter to store carbon and to stop large particles of waste from decaying in your tank.
