is a sea clone skimmer a piece of c*#p?

So, my 55 has hardly any room on the back and the only skimmer that would fit was a sea clone 100. did i just waste my $$

Not completely because now at least you have a skimmer, but SeaClone's are not one of the best.

An AquaC Remora takes less space and is infinitely better.

Remora is about $200(or it was when I got mine) and then there is an overflow box you can buy extra for around 30 or 40.

lots ofs of People here do not like the seaclone. I have one and I am very please with its performance.
It does take a little efffort to get it set correctly, but wwith patience you will be taking out cups of sludge in no time.
