Is Bak-Pak 2 enough?

I'm setting up a 55g FO tank. I would like to avoid putting in a sump and was wondering if a CPR Bak-Pak 2 would be enough filtration. I was also planning on adding some powerheads for increased circulation. Could I had some filter floss above the bio-balls for additional mechanical filtration?
Thanks,
Jim

I got a Remora Pro for a 50 gallon FO and e-mailed Jason Kim, the owner of the company, and asked him if the skimmer was enough. He recommended a power filter as well because they do different things. Skimmer gets out dissolved organics and filter gets particulates, food, solid wastes, etc. I went with a Fluval 304.
Plus, what is your source of bio-filtration?
Hope this helps.

I have a BakPak 2 on my 55 gal and it works fine. I wouldn't use it on a bigger tank though, and you'll want to watch how you stock your tank.
I also use a Magnum HOT filter for Mechanical and Bio filtration. There is a off brand that they sell at Walmart that is the same identical filter.

Thanks for the info everyone! I think I'll probably stick some mechanical filtration on as well.
