Was Wondering if having to eels in the same tank is a bad idea? I want a SFE as well as a banded snake eel. there both very cool fish. I'm suddenly thinking i should just do an agressive fish tank..... but anyway can i put 2 different eels together? I also only have a 55 gallon tank.

I don't know much about aggressive fish, but from what I've heard, you're pretty much limited to only one eel per tank. I could be wrong though, and in your case I hope I am. :)
Hopefully someone will respond who knows better, heh.

In a 55 i'd just stick with one eel unless u get a lil snowflake and something else just a lil larger...I've seen plenty of people put a green moray and tesseletta together but you need at least 150 for that

if you want to keep 2 eels in the same tank...you have to introduce them at the same time or they'll end up fighting to the death for territory

I have four good sized eels in the same tank. One is a golden taill, mexican dragon, silver moray eel,and a golden moray eel. They are in a 125.They get along fine.
