Me again,
is it necessary or a must have to have live rock in a ten gallon tank that is going to only have two clownfish and possibly some damsels. Also there will be some hermit crabs, some snails, and a cleaner shrimp in there but I wasnt sure if the live rock is necessary? But I also thought that thats what the hermit crabs eat off of so if someone could please help me!
Thanks,
Justin:happy:

Your LR will help a ton with filtration purposes. I would recommend having it in any size tank. It adds a tons of beneficial creatures to your aquarium.

Yes, definitely put some live rock in the tank. Not only is it going to help significantly in filtration like Neotrin17 said, but live rock will also help keep your tank levels low.

yes the live rock is good but you amount of fish is way to high.one clown or one damsel.you should try to remember 1 inch of fish = 5 gal of water.
