Is it OK to have 2 Fire Shrimp?

Just wondered if it would work. My pair of cleaner shrimp are out all the time, and I thought that if the Fire Shrimp had a 'buddy' maybe he'd come out front more often.

I don't know if that would make him come out more or night, but when I worked at a pet store, we would have like 5 or 6 in one small tank with no problem.

ive got 2 big cleaners and a tiny one, and one fire shrimp
i chose my fireshrimp because it was the only one besides a cleaner that jumped up to grab on to my finger at the lfs. There were about 10 differnt ones in differnt cubes and i put my finger on the top of the water on each one, and only one came up, so i got him. he is always out running around, smacking my fish with his antenna. haha

man that sucks that you lost one, but it is safe to put a pair in there as one will usually change ---, and they will be a mated pair!
good luck

interestingly I have tried shrimp twice -
first I got a pair of peppermints
then I got a pair of cleaners
One always hid in a cave - the same cave actually between species, while the other would come out and look around.
Still odd - both pairs mysteriously disappeared. The cleaners only last 3 weeks!
I really like them though - I was thinking about adding a pair of both of these again, and then add a pair of fire shrimp. Would everyone get along?
