Is It Over Kill?

I wanted more flow in my 92 gal. bow front FOWLR tank. I went down to my LFS and he recommended the Koralia 4. I installed it on the RH front upper side of the tank opposite the wet/dry return. It is a very powerful pump. It blows the fish away if they get in its stream. It is definitly moving the water around now.very well. I was wondering if this pump was overkill for my tank.?

I have 1 #4 and 1 #3 at the top, and another#2 at the bottom to give flow to the cave of my 90g
The fish will grow strong fighting the current, just like in the ocean. My fish play in my water stream, they get in it, get swooshed and go and do it again and again.
They now have no problem swimming against the current when they want to. Even my Xenia is sturdier; it used to get pushed over.

i found that after a week or two the fish get used the the extra flow and don't get pushed around so easy.

I have a 3 in my 46g bow and I was having the same problems. I finally put it in the middle of the glass on the far end and pointed it upward into the corner right where the bow starts. It slowed it down ALOT.
Just make sure you dont have the water line too high or your pump too high or your water is going to wave out

I have Kenya trees so sps is no onger an option for now...that said, I am surprised sps coral needs that much flow...Thanks for the tip.

Thank you all for the advice, I ended up putting the power head on the RH side towards the middle of the glass and aiming it into the middle of the tank. I also put the deflector nozzle on it and that seemed to calm it down some.
