I have a 24g NC DX and was wondering if it is as easy as taking a computer case fan (60mm) and just cutting out the old fan, using the same wiring and soldering the wires together?
The current fans in the cube push 14.43 CFM per fan and I could easily get 24-25 CFM per fan with the upgrade. My lights are running my tank a bit warm peaking at around 82-83 which is why I am wanting to do this.
