Is it safe to add another Ocellaris?

I recently went to my lfs to buy a pair of Ocellaris clowns, the thing was, they only had one. I went ahead and bought the one for my 155, and the employee told me that I could later add another (With a major size difference) and that they would still pair off. I've always heard that they had to be added at the same time. Which theory is true, anyone know?
Thanks!

I honestly dont think there is a theory because, I put my clowns in at seperate times even though they are different types of clowns they love the crap out of each other and there are two anemone in the tank and they are always at the same one... my father has the same kind of clowns and he has two of them, and he bought them over a period of 2 years and they still paired off. before that we got two at the same time and they didnt pair off. so who knows, its luck!

Not all Clownfish are the same. For Ocellaris it is generally true that if you add an immature Clownfish to a tank with a single Ocellaris they will usually pair bond fairly quickly.
