Is it safe?

I recently had 2 anemones that both died on me because what I thought was my water used for top offs and changes. I was using treated tap water because my RO/DI was broke. how do I know if the water in the tank is safe once again for anemones? what should I check for? just incase the anemones were a condi and a LTA

will do. thanks. have to find another store that carries copper tests. my lfs is expensive

almost 3yrs.
there is copper in the tank. I bought some chemi-pure to try and eliminate it. hope it helps. ended up having to get the test from the LFS. cost $22
