Emotions are an important part of life. If something means a lot to you it's death could cause extreem sadness and some tears.
For me and fish it is mostly a disapointment in myself for not being able to fix the sickness and not being as good a caretaker as I would like to be.
I had a dog that we had for 12 years. He and I hunted together many times. He go to te point that he couldn't walk and we had the vet put him to sleep. I am a man, 66 years old, and yes, tears came to my eyes when I had to make that decision. Don T.
