Is maganese the same as magnesium?

Just wondering if manganese (sp) is the same as magnesium for your reef tank, apparently I need some magnesium (got some mangroves and boy do those things suck it up out of the water haven't tested yet, but know that I need to when I get home from work tonight) and have a supplement that lists manganese (sp) as an element in it, wondered if it would work or not?

I didn't think they were, all well, thanks for the info guys... looks like a trip to the lfs through the snow, we currently have 5 inches and it is snowing very hard... all well lol
