Is my Chili Coral Dead?

I have had a chili coral for about a month. It is kept in a good current and shaded from direct light. In the evening it "bloomed". For the last week it has stopped blooming. It has not lost color and is still firm to the touch. Is it dead?????

i dont think it is my chilli corol opens every night now but sometime it doesnt open, one time it didnt open for a couple of day, how long do u run your lights

I've had one for several months. It can look solid for days, then sometimes when the lights come on it's all open.

The lights are on for 10 hours/day. The Chili has not opened since this message. I slightl repositioned the Chili yesterday, it is still firm to the touch.
