Is my coraline algae dying?

I posted this in the coral section, but haven't gotten an answer really. I didn't notice until I was looking at old pictures how different my coraline algae looks. It use to be bright purple:

But now parts of have changed color and the texture is different too. I don't know if it's just old or dying.

The only thing I have changed is the salt I use.
PH 8.2
Alk normal (doesn't have a #)
trites: 0
trates: 10
sg: .24
temp: 80
calcium 400

IMO its fine different substrates will show variences in color. Thickness of coraline will also make it darker than other areas that are not as thick.

I haven't changed my lighting, but it is time for my yearly maintence and my new ones should be comming in soon.
The only other thing I can think of is that my moon lights (LED's) don't work anymore. the cord got yanked out and the connection is bad.
Should I be concerened or is it normal?

Moonlight led's are mainly for astetics.. they dont have an impact on coraline algea. There are lighting systems that simulate the lunar cycle and at a certain time if done correctly corals will spawn like they do in the wild, but from what I have read its involved and not just moonlight leds. IMO your tank is fine.
