i had one of my anemonies end up next to my feather duster, and a couple days later the feathers fell off and floated away, i then threw them away, is he dead or will they still grow them back, the feather is closed up at the top now,
Without a doubt your duster is stressed. However, they will ususally come back from this and grow new feathers, suprisingly quickly. Move it to a better location and hope for the best.
wow i'm kind of surprised to hear they can do that, he's kind of under a rock and in a small current, is this ok for him, i"ll keep a eye on it to see how he does.
