Xenia's are a lot more common now and the prices are pretty much down now and not as expensive as they were a couple years ago. Just give your xenia a few days if its not looking good sometimes they look so bad and turn black and still come back but usually it takes time for it to recover.

UHHHHHHHH! now it looks 2wice as wose but were it was loosing those things were they pulse are starting and i mean juststarting to come back! my opunion its not gonna live! o yea u thought that was expensive get this there the size of my friends and $110.00 there just plain pulsing xeina. i was like wow! :scared:

If it's going to die it's going to die...not trying to be negative, but like everyone has said let it go for a few days and see what happens. They're pretty hardy corals. If they don't make it you need to find out what perimeters are off. Was it acclimated at all?

will a high ammonia be bad for it?

YES ANY amonia is bad is a fish tank it should be 0 unless you are cycling a tank. It will defintaly kill a xeina

Its Gonna Die Then His Ammonia Has A Spike Or Something It Is Like 10months Old His Ammonia Is 0.25-0.5

well some people just cant keep xenia, its another mystery of the coral...so tell him next time to try and find someone who can give it to you if you want to try again...but alot of people have bad luck with it, so don't feel bad, it happens...live and learn :joy:
