Is my frogspawn going to die? pics

I got it yesterday. It was open when it was at the LFS with no sign of brown jelly. I think it has brown jelly disease. I saw a tiny piece of a tenicle fall off.
Should I take it out? Is there any way I can save it? It was very cool at the LFS when it was open.

It has looked like this ever since I put it in my tank

post water parameters and set-up, IT LOOKS completely gone and skeletonized BUT in 24hrs? I dont believe it. Something went terribly wrong here.

I acclimated by floating and pouring about a half cup of my display water every 20 min for about 2 1/2 hours.
I have a biocube 14 with stock lighting. My other corals have been doing great.
water paramiters are on my first post

I agree, just leave it and watch it...it could very well come around before too long, just give it a chance.

I think it definatley has the potential to recover...
I had a frogspawn once that did the exact same thing and it came around. It did die on one or two of the heads, but the other heads survived. Hopefully it will come around...

frogspwans can be funny at times.... how long has it been in the tank?
just leave it there and give it a few days to open up, sometimes it takes them awhile

Yeah, mine expelled some brown slime from its mouth (regurgitated, maybe?)
By the way, your clown is really cute looking. I like the way he is peeking around the corner in the one pic!

DO you think it was damaged for your trip from the LFS to your house. They are very fragile when bumped and damaged from physical trama.

That sounds like what could have happend. Can it recover from physical damage? It seems to be falling apart with little pieces hanging from the brown slime

If you are not having any tissue degredation I think it is just a little shocked. I recently had a pink tip frogspawn shipped to me and all the water leaked out of the thermus it shipped in. Well, it survived a two day trip with no water and being bumped around in the thermous. It looked exactly like yours for about two days then it started to slowly inflate now about a month later it is freaken huge and B E A utiful. I think that you should be fine if it doesn't start to melt away.

This is not the cause but you need to test for this as well. Or in a few months we will see a post from you:
"Hair Algae out of control - Please help!"
This however has nothing to do with your problem.
It is possible that it is sick, or stressed from being taken from the ocean, or shipping or you or your LFS or the importer could have aclimated it poorly. Or its temp could have droped down too low. Or your crab could be picking at it. Or you could have a coral near that is attacking it.
There are a lot of possibilities. Good luck.
