Is my fure to small ?

Ihave a 55 gal with a wet dry trickle filter . I was hoping to change the wet dry to a fuge. I have a 29 gal that I have turnd into a fuge but I have read that it may to small for using as a filtration system. the dem. are as follows 24'' L 12'' W 16'' H but the fuge area is only 10" L 12" W 16" H is that to small to filter my tank

My guess is any fuge is better than no fuge as long as you can fit some sand and maybe some live rock/macro into it.

What size of fuge do you need to use it for a filtter

That would be a sump if you stuck a filter into it, in which case you will probably not want to put sand/rock/plants into it. However, I am unsure of what size sump you need as I have no knowledge on that subject
