Is my LTA a gonner?

Just an updated question. I put in a LTA on Sat. in my 75 gal reef tank, acclimated it properly. No experience with anemones, bought it to host a clown. Anyways, it never took hold and just rolled itself into a corner. I let it be for a few days but it kept getting further and further scrunched up against some rock so yesterday I decided to move it.
When I did, I noticed it's belly/foot was...gone? and it didn't feel the same. I placed it down as before and again it just rolled. I did notice its mouth open but no "stuff" coming out of it. It doesn't smell...yet, and it seems responsive to light.
Any thoughts?

Well, it does not sound good. Is it responding to touch? (not suggesting you touch it with bare hands)

Lighting is VHO and the lfs guy said that should do.
Water parameters: Temp: 76 Tests are ph-8.1 Ammonia-0 , nitrite-0, nitrates 0, my sp gravity is 1.026.
It doesn't feel like it's responding to touch like it did.

less movement is best, if you start seeing stringy substance coming from the foot get it out and pitch it, you'll have a big mess in your tank.
