Is one overflow enough?

Is one overflow enough in a 240 gallon?
1 1/2 inch drain and a 1" return with a 65gallon sump/fuge
I plan to use wave2k's(2) on each end.

One 1-1/2 inch will be a Max of around 1600 GPH if the line has no restrictions.

no not even for FOWLR for that tank you need to achive a minumim of 20x turnover rate for a reef that would be a typical soft and a LPS if you wanted SPS you would need 30x+

I would drill 2 -2 inch holes and run a mag 36 split the return coming into 2 opposite sides same with the overflows

Trying to keep it as clean looking as possible.
It is going in a wall and will be viewable from both sides.
What about 2 drains and 1 return in the same overflow box?

They dont filter water but they sure do move it.
yes they do sorry I didn't see that in the post what kind of a reef do you plan on keeping first soft LPS SPS all of the above that will help everyone alittle more and what type of lighting you have or plan on getting

if its an inwall a viewable from both sides will you have acess to the 2 sides of the tank or just one

From the front room it will be just framed glass with no access.(accept for a mag float stuck to the front ha).
In the second room it will look very much like a tank on a stand (hopefully).
Access from the second room, with the sump in stand we are building also.
I run the aquactinics t5 lighting on my 80 and will be transferring it along with the identical 24" (need to purchase) to get to the 72" I need.
I will also transfer the ls (3"-4" in my 48" 80 bow) and lr (around 100lbs) from my 80 to either the sump or dt or a combination of both.
I plan on keeping the soft or lps I doubt I will venture into the sps or clams.
My Foxface, lawnmower blenny and my clean-up crew will also make the move.
Thanks for the help and please keep it coming..
