Is that Expensiveglasstank worth it??

HI everyone. I went to the local fish store and was told that there was a special glass tank that is custom made. I think it was called star fire or sapphire glass.
Anyone know what that is about and if it is really worth double, triple the price??

Yes, IME the low iron glass is worth every penny..Make sure your getting what you pay for tho. There are tons of tank builders offering low iron glass and calling it Starphire and then charging you for Starphire. The Low iron glass these builders use is much better then reg glass but its not as clear as the Starphire brand, IMO.

Exactly like Golfish stated.....Low E and Starphire are different to a point.....Starphire is exclusive to Dupont I think it is that is there brand name and is a little clearer than Low E, but Low is definitely worth the money IMO

Shawn, I think Staphire is PPE or PPED, something like that..of course it could be a take off of Dupont.
