Is the lemonpeel angelfish reef-safe?

As long as you don't have any open brain corals in your tank mine love them. But doesn't mess with anything else.

I've had a coral beauty who never nipped my very few corals I had in my 125g. But paintballer76800 had to remove his because it nipped at his zoas. I'm debating wether to risk it or not. Does being well feed have anything to do with it?

nothing to do with whether the angel is well-fed. its really 50/50. its angels natural behavior to nip at rockwork and coral.

nature is just nature. Well fed doesnt matter. My coral beauty has been a model citizen as of now. But i keep an eye on him everyday. I wanna take him out neways, just dont ever feel like catching him!

So would everyone recommend not getting one or just going for it? I don't have any rare/expensive coral as of now. Just xenia which grows so fast I'm not worried about it and some 8$ frags I picked up at a lfs.

go for it then! just make sure to feed ur angel w well balanced diet. most angels need green and sponge in their diet.
