Is the Octopus really better than ASM?

I am looking into getting a new skimmer for my 220 f/o I was set on the ASM G3, but I have been hearing good things about the Octopu needle wheel skimmers. The Octo 200 runs about $40 cheaper, but that is not as significant to me as the performance? any opinions? anoyone running an octo?

Yes the octo is way better.I just got one for my new 210 gallon.And the asm g3 would be too small for a 220, you would half to get a asm g4.Big price difference now.Go with the octo nw200 needlewheel skimmer.You won't regret it.

after much consideration I think I am going to go with the octo, I have yet to hear a bad thing about them, I do have an ASM on my reef and I am very happy with it, but everyone tells me the octo has better construction ect.
