is there a major difference from a 10k & 14k MH 250 bulb???

I currently have a CURRENT USA 250 MH lighting system and the MH bulbs that came with it are 10000k. I like the look but I have to admit that its a little to light (white) for my likeing. When just the t5's are on it has a very blue but kind of dullish look to it and then when the MH's are on it becomes very white again (seems to drown out the blue ).
My question is, I saw that they make a 14000k bulb also. Do u feel I'll be able to see a noticable difference between the 10k and the 14k bulbs. The new one will cost me $75 each (after shipping) so I dont want to make the investment if I'm not gonna notice the difference. The stock bulbs are brand new.

Has anyone made the the switch from the 10k to the 14k in the past??
Thanks for the feedback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the 'k' rating ( short for kelvin) is how manufactures label the color temp of the bulb.. to put it short... roygbiv.(red,orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo,violet.. in that order.. ) the lower the 'k' such as 6500k, the reder the color. the higher like 20,000k...the bluer...
