Is there any med you think works?

I have a fish only, but a few inverts. Anything safe to put in the display foor ich. I know hypo and QT tank is the best. But is there ANYTHING in liquid form that is safe and cures ich?

I don't ever recommend anyone put anything in the display tank.
I'd move the fish into QT and perform hyposalinity. Over on the "Disease & Treatments" forum there are instructions to do hypo.
While some people don't believe in UVs, I run one all the time in my tanks and haven't had an outbreak since I started using one on the agreesive tank. After that, I decided for me a UV is mandatory. However, ScrubaDoo has some interesting input about UVs and his input is also worth consideration before you invest in a UV.
I have chosen to continue my use with them but he brings up interesting points worth considering.

i also agree do not put anything in the dispalay tank. Only thing i have ever put in was chemiclean but that was when i 1st got the tank and could not get rid of the red slime that the tank had before i bought it.

kick ich is suppose to be reef safe for all invertebrates, corals, and fish.

When I had ich one time before, I used Parasite Stop! and it got rid of my ich easily in 3 days. Totally reef safe, as I used it in a tank with live rock and inverts. I had to use it because it was engineer goby who had ich, and there was no way to get him out of the tank without further stressing him, possibly to death because I would have had to move so many rocks just to even try to get him out.

Sorry to say but there is no ingerdient proven to be effective in all of the reef-safe products against marine ich.
You may get some testimonials but there is no science to support the claims written on the bottles.
You can try and write the producers of some of these products and ask them....but I have yet to receive a response. I gave up some time ago.
Ther are many enviornmental conditions that can lead to a disease outbreak if the disease is present in the system. Improve on these conditions and many times the disease will appear to lessen or go away. SOme draw coorelations with use of a reef safe product...but there is really nothing to support the claims.
Few if any recognized names in the hobby recommend these products in their books/articles.

I have used kick ich with descent results and no casualties I use in conjunction with a UV sterolizer adding garlic to the diet does help feed regularly 2 times per day to help boost imune system and ward off the ick.for my agressive tank which I have no inverts at all I use coppersfae to cure ich but it will kill inverts without ectoskeletons such as starfish and snails

I too have found kick ick to be helpful although I have never known it to eliminate ick on its own. What I use it for is almost like a vitamin....if I have fish looking a bit puny or slacking on eating, I load the tank with it. It acts more like a vitamin than a med and the fish perk back up in no time - however when a tank resident has had a terrible case of ick, it's not alot of help. For that situation, I load the tank with kick ick and do hyposaline in conjunction - the hope is that the stress from the treatment will be tempered by whatever is in the kick ick that seems to make them feel better. Kick ick is also safe if you accidentally overdose - I have used it multiple times in the past (although it's been quite a long time since I needed it) and have always been happy with the result. Just don't expect it to be the cure - just maybe a boost to help the fish's own immune system to kick in and defeat it. It is safe for every sort of reef inhabitant you can imagine....I have fish, corals, anemones, inverts, etc...and none have ever shown ill effects from kick ick - as a matter of fact, I think its kind of good for them. Just my opinion....

I have had a reef set up for over 4 years and the best thing is to have cleaner shrimp or a cleaner wrasse. These are natural ick predators and will do a great job. My tank always has one of these present I never had to add anything. Garlic X from Kent is real good for preventing ick. Too bad because I just sold my last two bottles. I always keep extras on hand.

remember this is not a reef tank he can cure it without adding cleaners that could end up as food my fish get garlic extreme every day and still managed to catch it in a tank I coppersafed aprox 9 months ago

cleaner shrimp, but not a cleaner wrasse. those feed primarily on parasites and if you don't have any on the fish after the infestation is gone, they will starve.
