Is there some sort of gague that reads GPH flow?

was wondering how people can tell what thier GPH is besides just guessing based on the pipe size. I would like an accurate reading. That is relatively cheap.

Yes. There are a few meters that you can add either (Inline) or (Side Line) to any set up.
(Sideline) means 1 of 2 things A meter with a "Paddlewheel" that will rotate The rotation is caused by the flow and connect to a display of some sort (mechanical or digital) and will tell you your flow rate
(inline) a meter that will measure the water in line and will not require additional parts
Here is 1 that will handle up to 2100GPH This is about $80 to$90

These are pretty inexpensive.

Mark a spot in the bucket, divert the flow, and time how long it takes to fill to that point. Then, slap on a little math. There are 3600 seconds in an hour. If you get one gallon in 20 seconds, 3600/20 = 180 gph.

Stop making it EASY.

When I say, "mark a spot on the bucket," I mean you can choose to time for whatever quantity of water you want. Obviously even gallons are the easiest to compute. The more you measure, the more accurate the final number will be, you just have to adjust the equation. Multiply the number of gallons you're timing by 3600, then devide by the number of seconds it takes to get that much water in the bucket.
Example: You make a mark in your bucket at the three gallon level, and it takes 28 seconds to fill to that point.
3 (gallons) * 3600 (sec/hour) = 10800
10800 / 28 = 385 ghp (rounded off)
