Is there such a thing as too much filtration?

Hello
First I would like to say thank you for all the information that I have recieved from this site:) I picked up a tank a few months ago and decided to give saltwater a shot. I would have been lost without this board. I am totally hooked and plan on going bigger in the future.
My question is...........Is there such a thing as too much filtration? I just picked up another H.O.T magnum and a bak pak 2 for my 55 gallon tank. I have a 1" niger trigger, mollie, a coral banded shrimp, 10 crabs and a snail. I also have 60 lbs of live sand and about 10 pounds of live rock. The tank has been running for a little over 2 months. I would like to run 1 magnum with the carbon cartrige and the other magnum with the micron filter and the bak pak. Is this overkill for the amount of fish I have in the tank? I will be adding 2 more 1" fish over the next 2 weekends. Any other info you can provide for a newbie would be greatly apprieciated

Thanks for the quick response! Since there is no such thing as overfiltering I was also planning on adding 2 bio wheels. Any thoughts on the subject? I just want my water to be crystal clear. It seems like my tank water is a little cloudy, can you suggest anything to help clear it up?
