I just put in a second surge 7500 sump pump with each giving around 900 gallons per minute. is 1800 too much? with my calculations, that should give me around 4.5 minutes per tank turnover (is this the right vocabulary?)
What i noticed now is that my predrilled overflow is almost at its max. i belive the pipe is 1 1/4" wide and its making alot of noise.
Should i also angle the inflow tubes so that i create a few deadspots in my tank for my future corals and inverts?
thanks!

You don't want any deadspots if your going to have corals. Angle any powerheads and water pumps to prevent that. Most corals like alot of water movement.
